Reducing The Risk
Testing electrical components to ensure the charge point conforms to the highest standard of safety protecting the user and owner. Our planned preventative maintenance or Hydra Care covers a host of testing parameters including,
- Testing the cable insulation integrity
- Test the charging socket or tether
- Tighten wired terminals to avoid Arc Faults
- Ensure the product is earthed to BS guidelines
- Resecure the charge point mounting fixes
Testing Durable Parts
Our Engineers are trained to assess and detect wear on durable elements of a charge point. This includes but is not limited to the connector on a tethered unit, the screen, and or the payment terminal. Durable elements are designed for prolonged use but sometimes EV users don’t take considerate care, for example once they have completed their session not putting the tether back to its storing idle position.

If you have a dual socket charge point this plan is perfect for you. Our qualified engineer will test and re-certify each socket on your charge point deeming it operational for the following 12 months.
